Ritchie Hudson survived occupational leukemia twice and finally, a bone marrow transplant brought remission. He is a retired Captain from the Town of Davie Fire Rescue in Florida. His wife, Gina Hudson is a retired firefighter from Florida's Miramar Fire Rescue. She wrote about their experiences with vivid candor.
